MeetAny- Child Safety Standards
These standards work together with our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Community Guidelines.
Prohibited activities include but are not limited to:
- Creating, sharing, soliciting, or distributing child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form.
- Grooming behavior — building inappropriate relationships with minors for exploitation purposes.
- Any sexual communication with or about minors.
- Attempting to contact, solicit, or meet with minors through MeetAny.
- Any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers children.
MeetAny is restricted exclusively to users aged 18 and older. We enforce this restriction through multiple mechanisms:
- Users must provide their date of birth during registration. Accounts indicating age under 18 are blocked from registration.
- MeetAny implements Google Play's Age Signals API to receive platform-level age signals that help enforce the 18+ requirement.
- Accounts discovered to belong to users under 18 are immediately terminated and associated data is deleted.
- Repeated age misrepresentation attempts are flagged and reported to relevant authorities where legally required.
MeetAny uses Google Play's Age Signals API (effective 2026) to supplement our age assurance systems. This API provides age-related signals from the Google Play platform to help identify and block underage users.
- Age signal data is used solely for access control — to block users under 18.
- Age signal data is not stored in MeetAny's systems beyond what is necessary for the verification check.
- This implementation complies with Google Play's child safety policies effective April 2026.
MeetAny operates a near real-time content moderation system to detect and respond to violations as quickly as possible:
- Automated systems monitor for patterns of prohibited content and suspicious behavior.
- Reported content is reviewed by our moderation team on a priority basis.
- Illegal content — including any suspected CSAM — triggers immediate account suspension and mandatory reporting.
- We use industry-standard hashing tools aligned with NCMEC guidelines to detect known CSAM content.
When MeetAny detects or receives a credible report of CSAM, we follow this process:
- The account is immediately suspended.
- The content is preserved as evidence.
- A CyberTip is filed with the NCMEC CyberTipline.
- We cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
