We respect your right to control your personal data. This guide explains how to permanently delete your MeetNew account, what data is removed, and your legal rights under applicable privacy laws.

MeetNew is an 18+ platform. By using MeetNew, you confirmed you are 18 years of age or older.

1. How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your MeetNew account directly from within the app in four simple steps:

  1. Open the MeetNew App — Launch the MeetNew app on your Android device.
  2. Go to Settings — From the Home Screen, tap the Settings icon or menu.
  3. Select Delete Account — Locate and tap the Delete Account option in the Settings menu.
  4. Confirm Deletion — A confirmation dialogue will appear. Tap Confirm to permanently delete your account.

Deletion is immediate and permanent — once confirmed, your account cannot be recovered.

2. What Happens After Deletion

Upon confirming deletion, the following data is permanently and immediately removed from our systems:

  • Your unique user ID (assigned automatically at registration)
  • Your display name
  • Your age
  • Your gender
  • Your video call history and match logs
  • Any in-app reports or flags associated with your account

Because MeetNew uses anonymous guest login only, we do not collect or retain email addresses, phone numbers, or social media login credentials. There is nothing additional to remove.

3. Data Retained After Deletion

In limited circumstances, we may retain certain data after account deletion. This is necessary to meet legal obligations and to protect platform safety:

  • Safety enforcement records: If your account was suspended or permanently banned due to a Terms of Use violation or Child Safety policy breach, a minimal enforcement record may be retained to prevent re-registration and protect other users. This record does not contain personal video content.
  • Legal compliance: Records necessary to comply with applicable law, a court order, or a law enforcement request may be retained for the legally required period.
  • Aggregated analytics: Anonymised, non-identifiable usage data (e.g. session counts) may be retained for service improvement. This data cannot be linked back to you.

We do not sell retained data to third parties.

4. VIP Subscription Cancellation Warning

Important: Deleting your MeetNew account does not automatically cancel your VIP subscription or stop future billing charges.

If you have an active VIP subscription, you must cancel it separately through Google Play before deleting your account:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your device.
  2. Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  3. Find MeetNew and tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm cancellation.

Failing to cancel your subscription before deleting your account may result in continued charges. MeetNew cannot issue refunds for charges incurred after account deletion where the subscription was not cancelled. Please review our Refund Policy for further details.

5. Grace Period

MeetNew applies no grace period. Deletion is immediate and irreversible upon confirmation. You cannot recover your account, your match history, or any in-app credits after confirming deletion.

If you are unsure, you may simply stop using the app instead of deleting — your account will remain inactive and no data will be collected while you are not using the app.

6. Delete by Email (Alternative Method)

If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, you can contact us directly:

Include: Your approximate account creation date and the device type used

We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days of receiving your email. Note that because MeetNew uses anonymous guest login, we may not be able to locate your account if no identifying information is available. In-app deletion is the most reliable method.

7. Your Legal Rights — GDPR & CCPA

European Users — GDPR Article 17 (Right to Erasure)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data under Article 17 of the GDPR ("Right to be Forgotten"). Deleting your account in-app fulfils this right immediately. You may also submit a request by email to meetanyapp@gmail.com.

Erasure may be refused only where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation, for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, or for reasons of public interest. We will inform you of any such limitation within 30 days of your request.

California Users — CCPA Right to Delete

If you are a California resident, you have the right to request deletion of your personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA). Deleting your account fulfils this right. We do not discriminate against users who exercise their privacy rights.

Utah, Virginia, Colorado & Other US States

Users in Utah (Utah Consumer Privacy Act), Virginia (VCDPA), and Colorado (CPA) have similar rights to access, correct, and delete their personal data. In-app deletion or email request fulfils these rights.
